We had a fantastic stay at Les Rossignols last week! Such a pleasure to stay in such a lovely house in a beautiful location. The house was very well-appointed, comfortable and extremely clean. We had very hot weather during our stay so enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool and in the various shady areas of the garden. The swing seat was a particular hit! We also enjoyed picking vegetables from the garden for our meals.
In Chateaumeillant there were 2 excellent bakeries and we also had very good produce from the butcher/charcuterie shop. We had a good lunch at Le Goutte Noir in Chateaumeillant and also enjoyed dinner at Fredy's in Le Chatre. Our son especially enjoyed our trips to the lake at Sidailles. All in all a great holiday for all and we would definitely return!
I had a great time at Les Rossignols, this was the third time I stayed there, and I can never get enough of it. Stephen and Sarah are great hosts, they can't do enough for you, and the cottage is delightful and very dog friendly. I shall definately be booking again, there is still lots to see in area. Looking forward to next Spring.
We had a fantastic holiday in this rural, beautiful part of France. The house is superb snd has everything you could ask for, the owners are lovely people .

A great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is beautifully renovated and the garden provides plenty of room for the kids to play. The terrace has a large table and chairs and we ate nearly all our meals there under the grape vines. The swinging seat was a great place to sit with a glass of the local wine and watch the local wildlife or enjoy the night sky. Steve and Sarah were so welcoming and friendly and recommended some great places to visit and where the best local amenities were. We spent most of our holiday at the house and surrounding area, walking, looking at all the great wildlife, relaxing in the garden or in the pool. The kids had a great time hunting for lizards in the garden and want to go back again next year

This is a beautiful cottage. We stayed here in August for week...it had everything you would need. It was very well equipped. We felt very welcome here the owners were always on hand and very welcoming. The cottage provided lots of leaflets and information for places to visit. Our 2 children aged 14 and 6 really enjoyed themselves. We are looking forward to going back next year in this beautiful cottage and exploring more of the area that we didn't get a chance to visit .
Such a beautiful place to spend your holiday. A lovely, peaceful cottage with lots to do on-site and the surrounding area. My family had such a great time here enjoying the wildlife, relaxing, walking, playing in the pool, visiting the local towns and markets and exploring. Definitely will return.
A lovely cottage in a gorgeous part of rural central France, perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The night sky is amazing here, so many stars! We spotted red squirrels and red kites in the nearby woodland. Thank you for a fab holiday, can’t wait to come back!
